Install Athelgard in Chrome, Edge, Brave, or Opera

4-Step Onboarding:

1. Unzip the bundle: Extract athelgard-latest.zip. Everything unzips into one folder named athelgard — any unzip tool, any OS, no scattered files.
2. Load Unpacked: Open chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions), toggle Developer mode ON, click "Load unpacked", and pick the athelgard folder that was created — it directly contains manifest.json.
3. Reload after every update: if you already have it installed, hit Reload on the card — the version there must read 7.0.0. If it reads 6.1.x, 5.3.x or 2.5.x you are running an old build. To be certain, open ATHELGARD-FINGERPRINT.txt in the zip and compare its number against your copy with her-fingerprint.cjs.
4. Configure Brain: Click the Athelgard icon → Options. Set inference to DeepSeek (paste your API key) or Ollama (Local), and click "Test Brain Connection".

One-liner for macOS / Linux / WSL Terminal:
